Dynamic Embodiment

An important skill in this skill of mirroring is meeting people where they are by matching intensity.  Becoming aware of the animal conversation depends most highly on your range.  Can you meet someone in the most tender whisper and their most enraged state?

Exercise: Escalating “You!”  

Instructions: Go back and forth with your partner, simply saying the word “You.” With every exchange, raise the intensity with tone, emotion, and volume. Keep going into the edges of your comfort zone, without hurting yourself or scaring your neighbors.
